Maria and Tom two aren’t only unbelievably lovely but they also embraced everything the weather threw at them on their day. Most couples fear rain on their wedding day, when unfortunately it’s an element of wedding planning totally out of anyones control! So, let’s talk about rain.
As I’ve said, the prospect of rain on your big day is something most couples dread. It’s the fear over it negatively impacting your day, instead of the excitement of the potential it can bring to it instead. If you can put your fears aside and embrace a downpour if it comes, it can be incredibly beautiful.
Oxnead Hall is such a gorgeous wedding venue and, being in the Norfolk countryside, has the most stunning grounds. There was no way Maria and Tom wanted to settle for indoor portraits and not make the most out of their beautiful venue.
I’m not just saying it, some of my most favourite weddings have been during torrential rain when the couple have set the vibe and embraced the weather. Call it an adventure! Plus, you get to recreate the famous scene from ‘The Notebook’ and what’s not to love about that?!
