Wedding photography for couples who want their day to feel like them – imperfectly perfect, joyfully messy and full of love.
I’ll capture the fleeting moments that pass in a heartbeat, the raw emotions that take your breath away and the natural, candid moments that truly feel like you. The kind you’ll want to hang on every wall (and maybe gift to your Nan!)

I’m absolutely obsessed with capturing real, raw emotion. Every wedding and elopement is a story and my approach is about telling that story through moments you’ll never forget. Think: the tears you didn’t see coming, the laughter that makes your cheeks hurt and the portraits so full of heart you’ll want to hang them on every wall in your home (including the walls you didn’t think needed any decoration…I’m that good!)
Worried about posing? No stress – I’ve got you! When it comes to portraits, I’m all about fun. No awkward or stiff poses here (pinky swear!) just a few easy prompts to make you laugh, walk around and get those natural, really you photos. No one needs to feel like a mannequin on their wedding day, right?
I’ll capture everything: the happy tears, the quick smooches and moments that make you say “wait, did that just happen?” (Spoiler: yes it did and I’ve got it on camera!)

“Oh my goodness Charlotte, I don’t even think we have the words to describe how much we LOVE our photos!
They have given us that feeling we had on the day! I’ve sobbed happy tears, we are both just lost for words!
Thank you, thank you, thank you, it won’t ever be enough for what you have done for us. The memories and that feeling. You are truly magic! We are blown away”

I’ll capture any couple’s love story, but if you’re checking off these boxes – we’re definitely a great match!
✮ You know good photos aren’t just for Instagram – they’re for forever
✮ You’re fun-loving and up for anything (except awkward poses – I’ve got you covered on that one!)
✮ You love dogs, cosy socks and carbs (okay, maybe that’s not a must, but it sure helps!)
✮ You love adventure
✮ You’re creative – or open to trying out a few fun ideas
✮ You treasure the little moments, as much as the big ones
✮ You want your day to feel like you – authentically, perfectly you
✮ You’re head over heels I’m love (and we’re talking the real kind, not just the rom-com version)
You get some sneak peeks the very next day (because who likes to wait?!)
Your final gallery will be with you up to 6 weeks from your wedding day.
Short answer: lots!
For a full day wedding, you can expect around 500-800 photos, all delivered in my signature earthy style.
I know it’s a big range – and that’s because no two weddings are the same. The exact number depends on a few things, like:
But don’t worry, I’m not sitting there counting clicks. If it’s a genuine moment, it’s being captured!
Oh, and because I know waiting is the hardest part, you’ll also receive a sneak peek gallery shortly after your wedding, perfect for sharing, reliving, and showing off just a little bit
I have a signature, earthy style which I’ve developed over years and I blooming love it!
I capture weddings in RAW and edit every photo you receive with a healthy selection also doubled up with black and white copies.
As my editing style is earthy, it is massively complimented by weddings with a colour palette of earthy tones (greens, creams, browns, beiges, rusty oranges, blacks etc…).
This does not mean I can’t capture weddings with bright colours!!!
A gentle reminder: photographers capture the moment and we work with lighting conditions on the day. If your wedding day is dark and moody, your photos won’t look like it was bright and sunny (I know this probably goes without saying, but you’d be surprised!). If you’ve got a cosy, candle-lit room for your speeches, your photos will reflect this lighting and take on a cosy, intimate feel.
It’s pretty industry standard at this point, but I do not provide RAW files.
For a full wedding, I usually arrive somewhere around 2-3 hours before the ceremony.
The time I leave is judged on the day (and dependent on factors such as golden hour, sparklers, fireworks etc…) but I’ll always stay until 5-6 songs after your first dance.
Now this is an exciting one if you’re reading this (either that, or you’re currently just stalking my page and now feel bad for getting my hopes up!)
Either way, I take a 30% booking fee and a signed contract to secure me for your day. The remaining 70% is then due up to 90 days before your wedding day – this can either be paid as a lump sum or in instalments.
I’ve rewritten the answer a lot of times to this one to try and get the right wording, so bear with me!!
The short answer is: in theory. But let me discuss more below.
I bloody love Pinterest (in particular), but it has created a somewhat unrealistic expectation of what a wedding day should look like. Let me be clear: your wedding day should be exactly what you want it to be and please don’t feel any pressure to have it a certain way because social media or your Aunt Linda says so. Whilst inspiration photos can be helpful to gauge the vibe of what you’re thinking, they can end up hindering your expectations of what your day will be.
So I usually say to couples who have inspiration photos to send me: why do you like that photo? Is it the fact that you think that ‘pose’ is cool and you’d like to try it, or is it because there are heavily edited Swiss mountains in the background and you’re getting married in Suffolk?
Please do try to avoid saying things like “we love this editorial car photo you did with that couple and want to recreate it” when you aren’t actually having a car at your wedding (yes…this exact conversation has happened previously!!)
Often times, trying to recreate a (often staged and heavily edited) photo you’ve seen online can mean that you miss a bunch of natural photos that would’ve been a true reflection on your day.
But, of course, if there are some photos you’d like to send me or make references to then I’m not going to shout at you for it (I pinky swear!!)
The words candid and posed have been used to death at this point and I feel the line has been blurred a little.
I hate the word ‘posing’ and will virtually refuse to use it as I feel it conjures up awful imaginations of how a photographer is going to position you…I’m not going to be doing that, fear not!!
I’d describe my approach to weddings as candid, fun, and emotional with an editorial flare. The way I approach a wedding varies massively based on the energy I get from you guys as a couple and the energy from your guests. If you’re more of a reserved couple, I’ll approach most of the day from a documentary, ‘fly-on-the-wall’ perspective, capturing your couples portraits with a candid flare.
If you’re a couple who have a lot of energy, I’ll still be capturing your day from a candid perspective but I may throw in a few more fun ideas for your bridesmaids and groomsmen or a few more editorial photos with a candid flare.
Overall, 90% of your day is very candid (I’m capturing moments as they are happening, allowing you to relive your day when you see your photos). Your wedding portraits (photos of you both) will involve prompts and direction so you don’t feel like a wally stood awkwardly still, but still with the aim of giving you natural moments.
I’m a Suffolk wedding photographer (based in Suffolk), travelling all over the UK and abroad for weddings and elopements.
I’m Charlotte, a Suffolk wedding photographer based between Suffolk and Norfolk. Despite living in Suffolk, I frequently travel all over the UK and abroad for weddings and elopements. Some of my most common travel locations include: Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex, Scotland, Yorkshire and Cambridgeshire for wedding photography.
My wedding photography also extends to elopement photography and I adore every aspect of being a UK elopement photographer. My expertise and knowledge on elopement photography lends itself well to Scotland (particularly the Isle of Skye and Glencoe for elopements) whilst also having a vast knowledge on locations for The Lake District and The Peak District.
Some of my favourite most common wedding venues:
Butley Priory (Suffolk), Easton Grange (Suffolk), Gosfield Hall (Essex), Oxnead Hall (Norfolk), Falside Mill (St Andrew’s, Scotland), Godwick Hall (Norfolk), The Tithe Barn (Yorkshire), Crockwell Farm (Northamptonshire), Seckford Hall (Suffolk), High House (Essex), Copdock Hall (Suffolk), Jimmy’s Farm (Suffolk), Bassmead Manor Barn (Cambridgeshire) and Pentney Abbey (Norfolk).
My Favourite Elopement Destinations:
Quiraing, Isle of Skye (Scotland); Old Man of Storr, Isle of Skye (Scotland); Glencoe (Scotland); The Fairy Pools, Isle of Skye (Scotland), Blea Tarn (The Lake District), Windermere (The Lake District) and Durdle Door (Dorset).

Hiya! I’m Charlotte!
I'm Charlotte, a Suffolk wedding photographer capturing love stories across Suffolk, the UK and anywhere your adventure takes you.
I'm the kind of person who's in their PJs the second they walk through the front door, has zero self-control around a biscuit tin and cries at strangers' videos on the internet (seriously, the dog rescue videos get me every time!)
I'm a professional third wheel and lover of love. My approach to photography is all about capturing raw, real emotions with a creative and candid flair.
Want to know more about me? You can find all the juicy details below - it took me hours of self-criticism to write, so I'd love for you to read it!
