The Barns at Lodge Farm, Essex

It’s not very often that couples can claim “we got married during a weather warning”, but for Hannah and Scott, these guys can scream it from the rooftops!

Nevertheless, these two (and their awesome guests!) didn’t let this dampen their spirits in the slightest – excuse the pun.

How do I even start with this one?

The Barns at Lodge Farm is an incredible venue; it offers beautiful rustic barns, long banquet tables, farm tracks and a beautiful rural setting. Nestled in the gorgeous Essex countryside, The Barns at Lodge Farm is a wedding venue attached to a working farm. Lodge Farm is a photographers dream, allowing your portraits to incorporate all the traditional rustic farm elements (queue the photo of the silos, which is definitely one of my new favourites!) to beautiful portraits in the rural countryside.

If you’re looking for a rustic barn (or several in one venue!) and beautiful rolling fields, it’s fair to say that The Barns at Lodge Farm is probably one of your best bets! This family run venue has the most amazing feel, with the loveliest staff and rooms with so much care and attention. It’s main reception hall is something of dreams, being able to accommodate hundreds of guests but equally, if having an intimate wedding like Hannah and Scott, it’s able to make a cosy and intimate wedding work stunningly too!
