Where Essex wedding venues are concerned, The Barns at Lodge Farm is one of the best for couples wanting a barn wedding in the Essex countryside. Due to its rustic farm nature, The Barns at Lodge Farm is so gorgeously unique making it a couples (and photographers!) dream! Hannah and Scott found me on their search for a wedding photographer in Essex. Having had a pre-wedding shoot in Suffolk 6 months before their day, we couldn’t wait to celebrate together again on the wedding!

Hannah and Scott’s wedding ceremony took place inside the gorgeous ceremony barn on site of Lodge Farm Barns. The ceremony barn at Lodge Farm is about as rustic as it gets and was the perfect setting for Hannah and Scott to say “I do”. Their wedding breakfast was served on stunning long banquet tables within the Grain Store at The Barns at Lodge Farm. This room worked perfectly for their wedding breakfast and was then converted to their dance floor later in their wedding evening.

Given that The Barns at Lodge Farm sits on acres of rural Essex farmland, we couldn’t wait to get outside for Hannah and Scott’s wedding portraits once the wind had calmed down! Not only did we grab a few cosy portraits in the ‘bike shed’ located within The Barns at Lodge Farm (a lot more glamorous than it sounds, I promise!) but we also snapped a couple portraits outside the silos on the farm and in the nearby field – the perfect landscapes for their rustic farmland wedding!
