As a Suffolk wedding photographer, I’m incredibly lucky to capture love stories at some of the most beautiful venues in the county. One that never fails to take my breath away is Easton Grange – a stunning, exclusive-use venue nestled in the heart of the Suffolk countryside. I’ve had the pleasure of capturing weddings here many times, but Kayleigh and George’s wedding was something truly special. Their black-tie celebration, set against the rustic charm of Easton Grange, was a perfect blend of elegance, romance, and golden-hour magic.
A dream venue: Easton Grange in Suffolk
Easton Grange is hands down one of my favourite Suffolk wedding venues. Its combination of contemporary spaces and rustic charm makes it a photographer’s dream. The venue’s unique layout, with its light-filled ceremony barn and picturesque surroundings, provides endless opportunities for stunning wedding photography. I’m fortunate to work here often, and every visit feels like discovering it for the first time because no two weddings are ever the same.

Timeless elegance: black-tie and soft champagne tones
Kayleigh and George’s wedding was the epitome of timeless sophistication. George and his groomsmen looked sharp in classic black-tie attire, adding a formal yet stylish edge to the day. Complementing this, the bridesmaids wore elegant soft champagne dresses – delicate, understated, and effortlessly chic. Kayleigh’s bouquet, along with the bridesmaids’, featured cream florals mixed with lush green foliage, creating a natural, fresh aesthetic that tied beautifully with the overall theme.
A ceremony bathed in natural light
The ceremony took place in Easton Grange’s beautiful ceremony barn, an open, airy space filled with natural light streaming through large windows. The exposed beams and soft lighting created a warm, intimate atmosphere – an absolute dream for any wedding photographer. The natural light not only highlighted the emotional moments during the vows but also enhanced the soft, romantic tones of the floral arrangements and décor.

Confetti, Candids and celebrations
After the heartfelt ceremony, guests gathered outside for a joyful confetti moment – a burst of laughter that made for some fantastic candid shots. I love capturing these genuine interactions, where the newlyweds and their guests are simply enjoying themselves, unaware of the camera. It’s these fleeting, authentic moments that tell the real story of the day.

Day portraits at Easton Grange
While we captured some relaxed portraits throughout the day, the golden hour portraits were the true showstoppers. If there’s one part of this blog you scroll to with every fibre of your being, let it be this! Once their speeches were done, we snuck out for a golden hour break which didn’t disappoint! As the sun dipped low over the fields surrounding Easton Grange, it cast the most incredible soft, golden light – a photographer’s paradise. Kayleigh and George were absolute naturals, and the result? Breathtaking images filled with warmth, romance, and that magical golden glow.
An easton grange reception of details
The reception space at Easton Grange was beautifully styled, reflecting the same cream and green foliage theme as the bouquets. Bud vases filled with delicate florals lined the tables, while an elegant floral arch framed the top table, adding a stunning focal point to the room. The décor was simple yet sophisticated, creating a fresh, timeless look that complemented the venue’s rustic charm perfectly.

Let the evening fun begin
As the evening unfolded, the celebrations continued with laughter, dancing, and even a competitive game of giant Jenga – a fun touch that had everyone entertained! The relaxed vibe carried through the night, making it easy to capture more candid moments of guests letting loose and enjoying the party.

Saying "I do" at the medieval gatehouse
Pentney Abbey’s medieval gatehouse provided the perfect setting for their vows. The ceremony was both deeply emotional and full of laughter – exactly the kind of wedding every photographer loves to capture. Charlotte and Matt’s connection was undeniable, and they couldn’t stop smiling as they became husband and wife.

Those golden hour portraits at Easton Grange
Just when I thought the day couldn’t get any more beautiful, we snuck out for a second round of portraits in the soft, golden light (the ones you’ve scrolled for!)
Kayleigh and George were so relaxed and in the moment, which shines through in every photo. These sessions are some of my favourites to shoot – there’s just something special about the quiet, intimate moments shared between a couple as the day winds down.
