Believe me when I say that I was so excited to capture Grace and Chris’ wedding at Butley Priory this year! Having been a wedding photographer at Butley Priory previously, I couldn’t wait to be back at this gorgeous Suffolk venue for Grace and Chris’ wedding day. Butley priory is located in the rural Suffolk countryside, surrounded by acres of gorgeous woodland and rolling Suffolk fields. Don’t get me wrong, I adore Butley Priory for so many reasons but one of my favourite parts about this beautiful Suffolk wedding venue is it’s grand architecture, boasting something that can only be described as editorial! As you guys know, I’m a Suffolk wedding photographer and although I adore travelling for weddings there’s something to be said for having such a gem of a wedding venue right on your doorstep. Butley Priory certainly is a hidden gem of a wedding venue in Suffolk!

Grace and Chris first contacted me on their search for a Suffolk wedding photographer and, as I’ve already covered, I definitely didn’t play it cool when they told me their wedding was at Butley Priory! These two had the most epic wedding day in Suffolk; from an outdoor ceremony in the gardens at Butley Priory to a set of singing waiters surprising them later in the day (if you see a photo below of them dancing the conga, hopefully this will now make sense!) Grace and Chris had an absolute blast on their wedding day and it’s safe to say I didn’t want to leave either!
