Candice and Sam’s beautiful Essex wedding was definitely one to remember. Apton Hall – a gorgeous wedding venue located in Essex, was the stunning venue for their wedding and it couldn’t have been more perfect.
Prepare for lots of tears here!
The excitement I have over Chloe and Alex’s gallery is something unlike any other! Their beautiful wedding day took place at the breathtaking Forty Hall wedding venue located in Enfield. I was a London wedding photographer for the first time in a while and it definitely exceeded all possible expectations!
Chloe and Alex are childhood sweethearts and managed to squeeze in their wedding in the UK at last minute, having been due to marry out in Italy two years prior.
Marisa and Jake have been touring the UK together and got in touch whilst they were visiting Derby hoping to have an engagement session “somewhere pretty”.
Of course, The Peak District instantly came to mind and after just a short time Googling I came across the stunning Dovedale and Thorpe Cloud mountain, just a short 10 minutes drive from their AirB&B (where they also wanted a few more intimate photos taken!)
If you guys have followed any of my wedding photography – particularly my rambles on Instagram, you’ll know that I absolutely love a corn field. In fact, the minute I turn up at any venue I’ll always have a hunt around for a corn field or something similar.
That Amazing Place in Essex did not disappoint! Although a slight adventurous walk to get to, Gemma and Ben were fully on board for taking a wander to this gorgeous field and it did not disappoint.
Emma and Daniel celebrated their long overdue, beautiful wedding at the stunning Suffolk wedding venue: Hockwold Hall. As a Suffolk wedding photographer, it’s always wonderful to be able to capture Suffolk weddings at stunning venues. Hockwold Hall, based in the beautiful Suffolk countryside, is the most grand, beautiful venue! Emma and Daniel’s wedding was absolutely worth a big celebration and it was the most fun celebrating with this wonderful couple and their guests!
I was back for a Peak District, mountaintop engagement session today and it was beyond wonderful!
You just cannot beat the views of the Peak District, so prepare yourselves for all sorts of gorgeousness and landscape beauty!
Oh my, oh my. I’m not sure I can contain my excitement with this gallery! Ann and Sean’s big day was one of the most beautiful, passionate and fun weddings I’ve ever captured!
Bonus points too – we even managed to find a wheat field during golden hour. These are some photos you definitely won’t want to miss (even if I say so myself!)
Laura and Mark’s wedding day was the most glorious, beautifully intimate wedding and I’m still on a total wedding high after capturing and editing these pictures! The wedding took place at Mark’s parents’ farm and their ceremony was celebrated at Retford Town Hall.
Their wedding day? Picture stunning fields, lots of laughter and a beautiful reaction to their pregnancy announcement (this one was a goodun’ you guys!)
Originally planned in July, they had rescheduled time and time again and eventually last-minute booked for the last Saturday of September. It goes without saying that Gosfield Hall makes for such a stunning wedding venues and it was such a pleasure to capture their beautiful wedding day in this gorgeous manor hall.
Impressively, in the lead up to their big day, Bea and James’ spent a year collecting all sorts of trinkets: from rustic dining room tables, wartime books, World War posters and vintage crockery.
This one is a goodun’ guys! Scroll down for more candid goodness and some awesome dance floor moments!
Eek! I was beyond excited to photograph Annelise and Dan’s wedding day at the gorgeous Easton Grange in Suffolk. Having photographed their stunning engagement shoot on the Suffolk coast, I couldn’t wait to see what photographs I would capture on their big day.
Like with virtually all of my couples, Hannah and Scott were very nervous in front of the camera at the start. However after a few (what I like to call) ‘trial shots’, they very quickly fell into the motions and – according to them, had “so much fun”.
Bonus points? They also brought along their adorable 2 year old Cockapoo, so there may be a couple of him squeezed into this gallery too!
Copdock Hall is located in the Suffolk countryside and makes for a perfect venue for couples who want a pulled back, rustic feel to their wedding day. The exposed brickwork gives a lovely, cosy barn feel and can be left or decorated to your hearts content!
It’s fair to say that 2020 has been filled with announcement after announcement and, more often than not, these government talks have been filled with awful consequences for the wedding industry! Saturday’s announcement – of an other lockdown, was no different.
After a year and a half of rescheduled weddings, cancelled engagement shoots and barely getting the camera out – it felt so good to be able to capture an engagement shoot again!
Emma and Rupert’s photo session was actually my first of the year and I couldn’t have asked for a more fun, bubbly and lovely couple!
Having driven up to Holkham Beach in the evening time, we were greeted with a spectacular sunset which has made for some of my favourite pre-wedding photos yet! Joanne and Josh booked me last October after having heard lovely words from another one of my couples who they were friends with.
Charlotte and Anthony’s photoshoot was a first time proposal for me and it couldn’t have been a more magical event for me to capture!
As a Suffolk wedding photographer it’s always amazing to be able to explore local Suffolk wedding venues to me. Despite travelling worldwide, Helmingham Hall is truly spectacular and always an honour to capture at!
Another beautiful wedding to add to the list!
As a Suffolk wedding photographer who travels worldwide, it’s always so wonderful when I get to explore different wedding venues (particularly those local to me in East Anglia!) Having visited Bressingham Hall as a child, I was more than excited to go back to the beautiful Manor House and carousel to capture a wedding!
We initially visited the Suffolk coast for the pre-wedding shoot in the hopes of capturing some gorgeous golden hour photographs.
I can’t wait to be your Suffolk wedding photographer in October at the gorgeous Easton Grange wedding venue!
We had a wander through the gorgeous Sudbury Meadows in Suffolk, chatting all about their stunning wedding plans (Nina impressed me hugely when showing me her wedding planner – seriously, wow!) and just having a good natter about all sorts!
I’m beyond excited to be capturing their beautiful wedding next July and cannot wait to see all of their plans for White Hart Hotel come together!
2020 has taken me to some gorgeous new wedding venues (many of which I’ll be visiting again in 2021 – woohoo!) all around Suffolk, Essex and Norfolk and it really has been so special! I may have only been able to photograph 11 weddings this year (usually it’s 40 +), but these few weddings really have made an impression.
Choosing my favourite wedding photographs of 2020 was no easy decision, but below are some of my biggest highlight moments of the year.
Having had some rough months with the impact of the pandemic taking its toll on the wedding industry, it felt so good to be able to have a ‘real’ wedding again!
Fishley Hall, located in the gorgeous Norfolk countryside, made for a beautiful wedding setting for Hannah and Jack’s big day!
Knowing ‘how much does a wedding photographer cost’ is very valuable information when it comes to planning your big day.
Of course, it’s no surprise that the price range for hiring a wedding photographer is huge! To make this question easier to answer, we’re going to discuss how much should a wedding photographer cost in the UK.
I was back in the lovely Thetford Forest for Shamilla and Jamie’s pre-wedding shoot. We were also treated to another vey sunny day in Suffolk, making their photoshoot absolute bliss!
Although Shamilla and I had chatted over Skype prior to meeting, it was our first time meeting properly (and my first time meeting Jamie!) – so we were certainly going to make this meet a good one!
Choosing a wedding photographer to capture your big day is no easy decision. It’s likely you’ve found yourself looking at your fiancé, during moments of despair, asking “do we really need a photographer?” The short answer is yes (I’m biased, I know).
Deciding who you want to hire is a whole other kettle of fish! After all, how do you choose between your Uncle Phil who claims he’s “a pro” and that photographer you saw on Instagram a couple years ago? Well, fear not you lovely people – I’ve got you covered!
