Barbora & Elliot’s Wind-Swept, Joy-Filled Wedding at Godwick Hall, Norfolk
There are some wedding days that just overflow with heart, laughter and a touch of wild countryside magic — and Barbora & Elliot’s Godwick Hall wedding had all of that and more. As a Norfolk wedding photographer, I absolutely love photographing at Godwick — it’s rustic, elegant and full of character, and this gorgeous celebration was the perfect match for the venue’s charm.
One of the best things about Godwick Hall is having everything on site — and both Barbora and Elliot made the most of it!
Barbora got ready in the house surrounded by her bridesmaids, slipping into her beautiful lace gown and the most fabulous hot pink velvet shoes (a personal favourite detail of the day!). Elliot prepared nearby with his groomsmen in timeless black tie, the perfect contrast to the soft pastel tones of the morning.
The house was buzzing with excitement, yet calm — a lovely mix that always makes for beautiful, natural photos.

An Emotional Ceremony in the Great Barn
The ceremony took place in the Great Barn at Godwick, and it couldn’t have been more heartfelt. Elliot’s reaction as Barbora walked down the aisle and let’s just say there wasn’t a dry eye in the room!
They shared their handwritten vows, full of warmth and personality, and one of their daughters insisted on standing right beside them — such a special family moment that had everyone smiling.

The ceremony took place in the Great Barn at Godwick, and it couldn’t have been more heartfelt. Elliot’s reaction as Barbora walked down the aisle and let’s just say there wasn’t a dry eye in the room!

Confetti, Tractor Rides & Terraces
Once the “I do’s” were done, it was time for one of my favourite parts of any Godwick Hall wedding; confetti! The brick barn backdrop made the perfect frame for the flurry of petals and smiles that followed.
Then came a relaxed drinks reception on the terrace and gardens — guests chatting, and sipping bubbles in the gorgeous Norfolk countryside.
And of course, no Godwick celebration is complete without the famous tractor ride! Barbora and Elliot embraced the windy weather, hopping aboard with their guests for a joyful countryside adventure. It made for some of my favourite photos of the day — windswept, laughing, and totally carefree.

Back at the barn, it was time to sit down for dinner in the most beautifully styled wedding breakfast setup — pastel pink tones, elegant floral centrepieces, soft draping and table names inspired by their love of golf.
The speeches were heartfelt and full of emotion — the kind that makes you laugh and cry all at once. Afterwards, we snuck out for what can only be described as the quickest golden hour ever — around 90 seconds of glowing light, just enough to capture a few dreamy portraits (and a few sweet shots with their eldest daughter, which I adore).
