Some weddings just feel extra special and this one certainly did! Having photographed so many of Chloe and Ethan’s friends’ weddings over the years, it was finally their turn to take centre stage, and what a gorgeous day it was. Their Copdock Hall wedding was full of laughter, golden light, and the kind of relaxed joy that makes me love being a Suffolk wedding photographer.

Having photographed so many of Chloe and Ethan’s friends’ weddings over the years, it was finally their turn to take centre stage, and what a gorgeous day it was. Their Copdock Hall wedding was full of laughter, golden light, and the kind of relaxed joy that makes me love being a Suffolk wedding photographer.
Morning Preparations at Copdock Hall
Both Chloe and Ethan got ready on site, which is one of the things I adore about Copdock Hall, everything feels so connected. Chloe spent the morning in the newly refurbished on-site house, which was calm, full of light, and the perfect space for a peaceful bridal morning with her girls.
Ethan and his groomsmen were just next door in the on-site room at Copdock Hall — plenty of laughs and jokes. The Moss Bros suits looked incredibly sharp against the rustic backdrop, and Chloe’s silk and maple gown was simply stunning.
A quick hug with her bridesmaids, a deep breath, and it was time to walk across to the main hall to get married.

The ceremony space at Copdock Hall is one of my favourites – those brick walls and soft light always make it feel so warm and intimate. Chloe and Ethan’s ceremony was full of smiles and emotion, surrounded by the people they love most.
While it wasn’t a religious ceremony, Ethan’s dad gave a heartfelt blessing afterwards, which was such a touching personal touch.

Next up: confetti time! And oh, what a moment. There’s something about paper confetti that photographs so beautifully, especially when it catches the breeze – and this one absolutely did.
Afterwards, everyone headed outside for a relaxed drinks reception full of hugs, laughter and that lovely “we’re married!” buzz.

I like to capture these fairly quickly during the drinks reception so everyone can get back to celebrating, and of course, we had time for a few fun bridesmaid and groomsmen photos too (some of my favourites from the day!).
Just as things were wrapping up, Chloe’s brother surprised the newlyweds with his sports car decorated with a ‘Just Married’ sign. It was such a sweet, spontaneous moment that everyone loved!

Before dinner, I photographed the wedding breakfast setup . Simple, elegant, and perfectly complementing the rustic charm of Copdock Hall, with beautiful bud vases dotted along the long tables.
Then it was time for speeches; heartfelt, funny and emotional — before everyone tucked into a delicious meal.
