Milling Barn wedding photographer

Lauren and Robyn’s wedding day was all things beautiful. Not only are these two such a vibe (seriously, just look at them!) but they are so unbelievably comfortable around each other which made ‘posing’ beyond easy! Don’t get me wrong, over 90% of a wedding day is raw, natural and totally unposed, but these two took the few elements of ‘posing’ so incredibly.

I’ve captured multiple weddings at Milling Barn in the past and it never stops amazing me. Located in the Bedfordshire countryside, Milling Barn offers the most gorgeous rustic details and wide open landscapes making it a photographer’s dream.

The ceremony barn at Milling Barn is beyond rustic, with wooden beams, walls and ceilings galore. It’s always so wonderful to capture multiple weddings at the same venue, as you witness different ways couples will decorate the venue differently; Lauren and Robyn had their grandmothers make tonnes of bunting for the wedding breakfast room (cute, huh?!) and it looked spectacular!

As if this Bedfordshire wedding couldn’t get anymore beautiful, Lauren and Robyn were gifted with one of the most beautiful golden hours I’ve ever seen!

As with all weddings, golden hours are something I always look out for. Golden hour, the hour before sunset, is often very hit-or-miss so I never rely on us getting lucky. That being said, I always keep my eyes peeled for that gorgeous sunshine going down. This sunset at Milling Barn was so spectacular.

Lauren and Robyn’s day in the sunshine was beyond gorgeous. From the funnest moments during their dance floor, to the cutest portraits – it really was one to never forget!
