You guys will likely know by now that, despite living in Suffolk, I become an Essex wedding photographer for a big proportion of the year and I love it! Candice and Sam first reached out to me last year and upon the small Google search for ‘Apton Hall’ I fell instantly in love with this couple and their beautiful wedding venue. Apton Hall is such an inclusive venue, meaning all wedding party members can be getting ready just steps apart from each other (making it a dream for all suppliers on the job, who can easily jump in and out of rooms!)
This Essex wedding gem also had everything set up ahead of time…You may well be sat there with a puzzled look on your face, but wedding venues will rarely have the ceremony and reception spaces ready in the morning (and usually set up part way through the day, juggling chairs around etc…) but Apton Hall was so efficient meaning I could capture all the venue shots ahead of time and spend even more wonderful shots of the bride and groom getting ready for their big day!
If you’ve had even the smallest of conversations with me, you’ll know that I’m a huge advocate for couples embracing their personalities within their big day. Whilst I think wedding traditions can be lovely, I do think it’s wonderful when couples incorporate their quirks and everyday lives into their wedding. Hearing that Sam would be wearing his military uniform made my heart sing – and I think you’ll agree that it was the best decision he could have made.
Prepare for lots of smiles, tears and hilarity at this beautiful Essex wedding.
